Collision - Around 10am on Monday April 30th, police and first responders attended a single vehicle collision on South Road near the junction with Dolphin Ridge in Southampton. It appears that a car was travelling along South Road when it collided with a wall. The driver, a 31 year old Paget woman was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. The car received extensive front-end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Update – Collisions
Around 6:10pm on Sunday, April 29th police and first responders attended a reported collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Fractious Street involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along North Shore Road when they collided. The motorcycle rider, a 27 year old Pembroke man, received a leg injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check, he was in stable condition on a general ward. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
The 60 year old St. George’s man injured in a single vehicle collision around 2:30am Sunday, April 29th in the vicinity of the round-a-bout at the junction of North Shore Road and Palmetto Road in Pembroke remains in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses to this collision are encouraged to contact PC Anthony Ricketts on 295-0011.
