Collision - Around 6:10pm on Sunday, April 29th police and first responders attended a reported collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Fractious Street involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along North Shore Road when they collided. The motorcycle rider, a 27 year old Pembroke man, received a leg injury and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Both vehicles were damaged as a result; however there were no other injuries reported. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The 25 year old Pembroke woman injured when the car she was driving collided with a fence and overturned around 3:55am Sunday, April 29th on Cemetery Road in Pembroke near the junction with Serpentine Road has been discharged after receiving treatment for her injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The 60 year old St. George’s man injured when the SUV he was driving went through a wooden fence and over an embankment, landing on the shoreline below around 2:30am Sunday, April 29th in the vicinity of the round-a-bout at the junction of North Shore Road and Palmetto Road in Pembroke is currently in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Update: Infant Injured In Town Hill Road Collision
At last check the 11 month old female infant injured in a single vehicle collision around 11:30am Thursday, April 26th in the Town Hill Road, Smith’s parish area was recovering in stable condition in the Children’s Ward of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 14 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested 4 people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
