Collisions - Around 3:45pm on Monday April 23rd, police and first responders attended a reported collision on Middle Road in Southampton, near the junction with Heron View Lane between a motorcycle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 13 year old Southampton boy received a leg injury and was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The rider, a 22 year old Southampton woman, was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 12:30am on Monday April 23rd, police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick. It appears that a motorcycle was travelling along Middle Road near the junction with Longford Road when it collided with an embankment. The rider, a 48 year old Southampton man was injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and later released. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
