Collision - Around 3:15pm on Wednesday, March 14th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision in the area of Loyal Hill Pass and Vesey Street in Devonshire. Details about the incident are unclear at this time; however the rider, a 24 year old Pembroke man, was injured and the motorcycle involved was extensively damaged. The victim received treatment for his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and at last check was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Richard Geraghty on 295-0011.

Significant Turnout for Neighbourhood Watch Meeting

The Western Community Action Team would like to thank all the Warwick residents who attended the Neighbourhood Watch meeting at T.N. Tatem Middle School on Wednesday, March 14th at 6pm. The dynamic forum saw presentations by:

  • Mr. Jeff Baron of Crime Stoppers Bermuda
  • Mrs. D. Blee, a member of a successful Neighbourhood Watch
  • Community Action Team officers regarding the Neighbourhood Watch programme
