Collisions - Around 5pm on Wednesday January 11th, police and first responders attended a reported collision in the area of Middle Road in Warwick, near the junction with Morgan Road. It appears that a car and a motorcycle were travelling along Middle Road when they collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 40 year old Southampton man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. However, his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The driver of the car, a 55 year old Devonshire man was not injured. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7pm on Wednesday January 11th, police responded to a report of a collision on Somerset Road in Sandys near the junction with Scott’s Hill Road. It appears that two motorcycles were travelling along Somerset Road when they collided. Both riders sustained relatively minor injuries. One of the riders, a 27 year old Southampton man was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later released. It is unclear whether the other rider, a 19 year old Sandys woman, sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
