On Saturday, Decmeber 10th the 2011 Christmas Boat Parade took place in Hamilton harbour with over 70 vessels taking
part, including the police boat MV Guardian. Decorated with lights, a Christmas tree, a T3 Motion vehicle and Santa waving from the Birdcage, the MV Guardian was all decked out in the festive spirit thanks to the Marine Unit. Onboard for the parade were many of the 2011 Police Week Commissioner for a Day creative artwork and short essay competition winners, along with Assistant Commissioner David Mirfield and his wife.
