Injury RTC

Around 8:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Tamarind Vale involving a car, an unknown motorcycle and a rental cycle. It appears that the rental cycle was traveling west on Middle Road with the car traveling in the same direction behind it when an unknown motorcyclist struck both vehicles while overtaking them causing the rider of the rental cycle, a 38 year old woman, to lose control and fall to the road. The unknown motorcyclist did not stop following the collisions. The female visitor who was riding the rental cycle sustained abrasions to both legs and her right hand. The driver of the car, a 46 year old Southampton man, was not injured. The rental cycle received minor damage and there was no apparent damage to the car. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident, particularly anyone who may be able to assist in identifying the motorcyclist who left the scene, to contact PC Courtney Williams on 295-0011.

Burglary

Around 1:05pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Broken Hill Lane, Smith's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 7:50am and 11:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while they were away from the premises. The culprit stole $700 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Person - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 24 year old Khalil Ishmail Roberts. He was found safe and well yesterday afternoon.
