Handbag Snatch - Around 9am on Tuesday November 1st, police responded to a reported handbag snatch in the Spring Hill, Warwick area. It appears that a 49 year old Warwick woman was walking in the area when two unknown males on a black motorcycle rode alongside her. The passenger of the bike grabbed her handbag. A brief struggle ensued between the passenger and the Warwick woman before the suspects made good their escape with the handbag which contained a wallet and personal items. The suspects are described as two males on a black motorcycle, wearing all black clothing and black helmets with full faced visors. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. She was later released. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
