Injury RTC

Around 4:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish, near the junction with Walsingham Lane. It appears that the car was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road when the driver, an 81 year old Devonshire man, lost control of the vehicle attempting to negotiate a bend in the road. As a result, the car collided with a wall and overturned, ending up on its roof in the eastbound lane. The Devonshire man was taken to KEMH for treatment of his injuries and is currently in stable condition on a general ward. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 9:55pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Greendale Lane, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 2:45pm and 8:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while she was away from the premises. The culprit stole a Panasonic DVD player, a Movado watch with a silver face and a silver bracelet. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Wyndham Hill, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while he was away from the premises. The culprit stole a water bottle containing $1,000 worth of one dollar coins. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:10pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Daisyfield Drive, Sandy's parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 12 noon on Monday and 4pm on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home and stole U.S. $300 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
