Tue, 2006-10-03

At 7:50am on Tuesday, a 34 year old Sandy's parish man attended Somerset Police Station to turn himself in. The Sandy's parish man is suspected of being the driver of a silver Rover MG car that was involved in what appears to be a single vehicle road traffic collision on South Road in Warwick near the junction with Rocklands Road around 10pm Monday. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of taking the vehicle without the owner's consent and taken to KEMH for treatment of a nose injury; he was then released from the hospital, taken back to Somerset Police Station and detained. He was later bailed. Inquiries are ongoing.
