Around 9:20 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish. It appears that around 8:45am a white Works & Engineering truck was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road when the driver, a 24 year old Smith's parish man, swerved to the left to avoid a black car traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, the truck was lodged under the left side of Manor House Bridge (which is lower). The truck was subsequently removed from the bridge with minor damage to the top of the vehicle. There was no visible damage to the bridge.
