Burglary

At 9:25am on Sunday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Dureden Lane, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:30pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into his home which is under renovation, while he was away from the premises. The culprit(s) stole 5 'Mr. Slim' air conditioning units (4 external & 1 internal, still in their boxes), a red & black Troy Built gas operated portable generator, a green gas operated weed eater and a green gas operated hedge trimmer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Stolen Vehicle - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating vehicle license #L0868. The van was recovered on the Railway Trail in Southampton at 10am on Sunday. Inquiries are ongoing.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 9 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 10 reported burglaries (1 in Smith's parish, 3 in Pembroke, 2 in Paget, 1 in Warwick, 1 in Southampton and 2 in Sandy's parish). There were also 21 reported damage only road traffic collisions and 6 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
