Injury RTC - Around 8:40am on Wednesday, Police responded to a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Victoria Street in Pembroke in the vicinity of the Washington Street Bus Terminal involving a bus and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 67 year old St. George’s man, was injured; however his injuries are not serious. No one on the bus was injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 6:15pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Wreck Road, Sandys parish residence. It appears that sometime between 11am and 6pm that day an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 9:50am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Palm Valley, Southampton residence. It appears that sometime on Monday, November 22nd an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Also, before retiring to bed at night all windows & doors should be locked with any valuables secured out of sight. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
