Disturbance

Around 8:20pm on Friday, Police attended a reported disturbance on Church Street in the City of Hamilton, near the junction with Queen Street. On arrival officers observed two young men involved in an argument. As the officers attempted to find out what the disagreement was about, a third young man approached and attempted to assault one of the individuals involved in the initial argument. As a result the three young men involved, a 16 year old from St. George's, a 24 year old from Pembroke and a 25 year old from Hamilton parish were arrested on suspicion of affray, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained. They were subsequently bailed. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
