At 7:45am on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Pembroke near the junction with Overview Hill. It appears that a car was traveling east on North Shore Road when the driver, a 20 year old Pembroke woman, lost control and collided with a wall causing the vehicle to overturn. The car ended up on its roof and was extensively damaged; the wall was also damaged. The Pembroke woman was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service is noticing an increase in thefts from properties around the island, particularly schools and construction sites. We are asking members of the public to be vigilant for any individuals attempting to sell tools or electronic items, especially computer equipment. We would also like to remind the public that receiving stolen goods is an offence punishable under the law.
