Injury RTC - Around 11pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury near the junction of Roberts Avenue and Parsons Road in Devonshire involving two cars. It appears that the cars were traveling in opposite directions on Roberts Avenue when they collided. One car left the scene following the collision and was subsequently located by officers unattended. That vehicle was impounded. The driver of the other car, a 32 year old Hamilton parish woman, sustained a laceration to her right knee while her passenger, a 31 year old Warwick woman, suffered pain to her chest. Both women were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The car they were in received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 2 reported burglaries. There were also 15 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 2 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 9 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
