Damage Only RTC

Around 3:55am on Saturday, Police attended what appeared to be a single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Sound View Road in Sandy’s parish. It appears that a car was traveling east on Sound View Road when the driver apparently lost control attempting to negotiate a left hand bend and collided with a wall. It is unknown if anyone was injured as the driver and/or occupants of the car left the scene before Police arrival. The car received extensive front end damage and the wall was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 11:15am on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Jennings Road, Smith’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8:30am and 10:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Rolex ‘Submariner’ watch and a Tag Heuer watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
