Injury RTC/Impaired Driving

At 2:30 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Kindley Field Road in St. George’s. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Kindley Field Road when the rider, an 18 year old Devonshire man, lost control attempting to negotiate Stonecrusher Corner and ran off the road, colliding with a grassy embankment. The Devonshire man was taken to KEMH for treatment of facial injuries and injuries to both legs and released. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 10:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Glebe Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11:30pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a storage room on the property. The culprit stole a blue & black child’s pedal cycle and a red mountain bike (pedal cycle). Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:35pm on Friday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Collectors Hill, Smith’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7am and 7:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver JVC DVD player with remote control. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
