Burglary

Around 6:55 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Bostock Hill East, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 11pm on Tuesday and 5am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole two Dell laptop computers and a 'Targus' laptop computer bag. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:30am today, Police attended a reported burglary at a Tanglewood Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:30am and 11:45pm on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a light grey Sony Vaio laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:45pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Railway Trail, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime earlier that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole several items of gold jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Witness Appeal

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an assault that occurred around 8:30pm on Thursday, November 23, 2006 on Middle Road in Devonshire near Howard's Mini Mart. The victim, a 19 year old Hamilton parish woman, was riding her motorcycle east on Middle Road when she was approached by two unknown men on motorcycles. After forcing her to stop, a scuffle ensued with the two suspects, with one of them punching the victim in the face twice. She lost consciousness and awoke approximately three hours later next to Howard's Mini Mart with her cycle a short distance away. Nothing was taken from the Hamilton parish woman and she was not injured any further. She was treated at KEMH for bruising and swelling to her face and released. The suspects are described as two young black men believed to be in their 20s, 5'8" - 5'10" tall wearing dark coloured heavy weight jackets and black helmets with face visors. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
