Theft - At 9am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. The complainant stated that at 8pm on Monday she returned to her Stacey Estates Road, Warwick residence and parked her car. She took some groceries inside and returned to the car, only to find an unknown man inside the vehicle. The Warwick resident confronted the offender, who made good his escape on foot with an old Nokia cellular phone. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’ 10” tall of slim build with short hair. He was wearing a shirt, khaki pants and sneakers and appeared to be 25 to 35 years old. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
Burglary
At 8:50am on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Lightbourn Drive, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 7:30am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
