Around 1:50pm today, Police received a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Pender Road in Sandys parish. It appears that the victim, a 33 year old female visitor to the island, was riding a rental cycle along Pender Road when she lost control and collided with the curb. She sustained suspected internal injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
