Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in locating 16 year old Rayshun Edwards of Pembroke. Edwards was last seen at his Euclid Avenue, Pembroke home on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 7pm. He is described as dark brown skinned, 5'9" tall, weighing 140 pounds with black hair in a low afro. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved red & white striped shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers. Edwards is known to frequent the Somerset area and ride a black Honda Scoopy auxiliary cycle license #292 AF. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Rayshun Edwards is asked to contact the Juvenile & Domestic Crime Unit on 299-4477 or the main Police number, 295-0011.

Burglary

Around 1am today, Police attended a reported burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant, who is a visitor to the island. He stated that around 12:40am he saw an unknown man standing outside his room's sliding glass door. The visitor asked the suspect to leave; however, the suspect gained entry into the room after several attempts and stole a suede knapsack containing personal items and a Minolta digital camera in a black case. The visitor left the room before the suspect was able to gain entry and contacted Police. He was not injured. The suspect is described as a dark skinned man of medium build, wearing a blue hooded shirt. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:45am on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Camp Hill, Southampton business. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Friday and 7:30am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole an unknown amount of imported fish. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
