Injury RTC

At 1:50pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick outside White's Supermarket involving a motorcycle and a van. It appears that the van was traveling east on Middle Road attempting to make a right turn into White's Supermarket when the motorcycle collided with the van while overtaking stationary traffic. The rider of the motorcycle, a 13 year old Warwick boy and the driver of the van, a 48 year old Pembroke woman, were taken to KEMH for treatment of minor injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 10:35pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Shawn Acres Lane, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:45pm and 9pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Canon digital camera, a Canon digital video camera, 10 mini-DV tapes and a green Yamaha Axis license #BB994. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the stolen motorcycle is asked to contact the Vehicle Crime Unit on 299-4316 or the main Police number, 295-0011.

At 4pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Spice Hill Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9:30am and 3:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole $102 in cash, two Canon digital cameras and a Canon digital video camera. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
