Thefts from Unattended Vehicles - The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public that there have been several reports of thefts from unattended vehicles in the Pembroke area recently. In some instances small quantities of cash, tools and personal items were taken; in others nothing was taken. The latest incidents were reported to Police between 7am and 10am Friday, August 7th 2009 in the Middle Park Lane, Rockville Lane, Uppington Crescent and Ridgeway Road areas. Anyone with any information on these incidents is encouraged to contact the main Police number, 295-0011.
Weekend Activity
Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 2 reported burglaries. There were also 17 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 7 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
