Disturbance - Around 2:25am today, Police attended a reported disturbance at Docksiders Pub & Restaurant on Front Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers observed a large crowd of people inside and outside the premises. As Police dispersed the crowd, four men were arrested for obstruction and/or offensive words; in two of those arrests, use of a deterrent spray was necessary to subdue the individual. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:45am on Saturday, Police attended a reported disturbance on Point Pleasant Road in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers observed a large crowd of people leaving the area; however, initial efforts to determine what occurred were unsuccessful. Officers maintained a presence in the area until the crowd had dispersed. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around midnight on Saturday, Police attended a reported disturbance at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club in Hamilton parish. However, on arrival there was no disturbance in progress and the individuals allegedly involved in the incident had already left the area. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

At 2:10pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harington Hundreds Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Gatehead Lane. It appears that a rental cycle was traveling south on Harrington Hundreds Road when the rider, a 48 year old New Jersey man, lost control attempting to negotiate a sharp bend and collided with a wall. The rider of the rental cycle and his passenger, an 18 year old New Jersey woman, sustained injuries to their arms & legs as a result. The visitors’ rental cycle received relatively minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
