Domestic Dispute

Around 8:20 this morning, Police attended a reported domestic dispute at Astwood Park on South Road in Warwick. It appears that a 31 year old Warwick man assaulted a woman with a bladed article during an argument. The victim sustained a laceration to the face and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The Warwick man was arrested at the scene. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
At 5:50pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Serpentine Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 6:30am and 4:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole 25 CDs/DVDs, a bed linen set and $50 worth of coins. The culprit is also believed to have taken a 9 month old tan coloured pitbull puppy with white paws. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 5:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Warwick Lane, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 4:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Toshiba laptop computer, an I-Pod Nano with docking station, a portable DVD player, 12 DVDs, £100 in cash and several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
