Injury RTC - Around 8:55am on Friday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Marsh Lane . It appears that a SUV and a motorcycle were traveling west on Middle Road, with the SUV in front of the motorcycle. The SUV came to a stop; however the motorcycle was unable to stop in time and collided with the rear of the SUV. The rider of the motorcycle, a 30 year old Hamilton parish woman, sustained injuries to her left hand and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the SUV, a 42 year old St. George’s woman, was not injured. The SUV received moderate rear end damage while the motorcycle received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 5:15pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Friswells Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12 noon and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. It does not appear that anything was taken. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cedar Park Road, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1:30pm, Thursday July 16 and 3:30pm, Friday July 24 an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while she was overseas. The culprit stole a 27” Panasonic flat screen TV, a Sony PlayStation 3 video game system and a stereo. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
