Burglary

Around 2:50 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Sandy's parish guest property. The complainant, who is a visitor to the island, stated that he was awoken by noises in his room. When he went to investigate he discovered an unknown man in another section of the room. The complainant chased the intruder from the room, where he made good his escape on foot. The complainant then discovered his black leather briefcase containing personal items missing. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5'9" tall wearing dark clothing. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 9am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Somerset Road, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12 noon on Wednesday, February 14 and 8:30am on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 an unknown culprit or culprits stole six aluminium windows from the premises which is currently under renovation. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 8:40am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at St. Mary's Church in Warwick. On arrival officers spoke with the church's priest, who stated that sometime between 8pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the church. The culprit stole 6 bottles of wine. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 9:10am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported theft from a Keith Hall Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:30pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit stole a red generator from the garage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
