Robbery

Around 10:40pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a robbery at a Derwent Lane, Devonshire residence. The victim, a 41 year old Devonshire man, stated that he arrived at his friend’s residence around 10:15pm and was parking his motorcycle when an unknown man approached him from behind. The suspect turned him around, put a knife to his neck and demanded money. The victim told the suspect that there was money in the cycle. The suspect then punched the 41 year old man several times in the face and chest, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect searched the cycle and took a house key before making good his escape on foot as the Devonshire man shouted for help. The suspect is described as approximately 5’11” tall of medium build, wearing a black rain suit top, dark coloured pants, an open face silver helmet and black gloves. It is unknown if the victim attended KEMH for treatment of his injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
