Human Skeletal Remains Found

Around 2pm on Saturday, Police received a report of human skeletal remains found in the Glebe Road, Pembroke area. Police attended the scene a short time later and spoke with an area resident who discovered the human remains. An autopsy was performed later that day and foul play was ruled out; however, due to the advanced state of decomposition of the body, Police are now forensically trying to determine the identity of the deceased. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing. No further information will be released until next of kin can be notified.
Burglary
Around 10:55pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants, who are visitors to the island. The couple stated that sometime between 4:10pm and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their room while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black Nikon digital camera. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 1am and 7am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash.
