Burglary

Around 8:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Rebecca Road, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that earlier that evening he and his wife were having dinner in the kitchen when he heard noises in the bedroom. When he went to investigate, he found an unknown man in the room holding his (the complainants) wallet. The complainant managed to get the wallet back and chased the suspect out of the house. The suspect, who made good his escape on foot, is described as a black male, 56” tall with a receding hairline and a short graying beard wearing a white t-shirt and dark coloured jeans. Nothing was reported taken from the home. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:10pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Manor Hill, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10am and 2:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver 42” Panasonic plasma TV and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
