Body Found

Around 7:45 this morning, a member of the public reported finding what appeared to be a human body washed up on the shoreline of Devonshire Bay in Devonshire. Police and a Government physician attended the scene and confirmed it to be a human body. The Government physician confirmed death at 9:15am. No further information will be released at this time, pending positive identification of the body.

Missing Person

Around 9:35am on Monday, Police received a report of a missing person. Earlston Williams, a 38 year old Pembroke man, was last seen on Friday, September 30, 2005 at a Bowes Lane, Sandy's parish residence. He is described as dark brown skinned of medium build with close cut black hair and brown eyes. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 38 year old Earlston Williams (pictured right) to contact the Juvenile & Domestic Crime Unit on 295-0011.

Update

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 38 year old Earlston Williams. He was found safe and sound in Middle Town, Pembroke around 11:20am today.

Theft

At 9:25am on Monday, Police attended a reported theft from Landscape Gardeners Ltd. on Brighton Lane in Devonshire. On arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am on Sunday and 7am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole 8 five gallon containers of gas, 6 machetes, 4 grass clippers, 2 Makita jack hammers, 2 skill saws, a drill, a Stihl trimmer, a Stihl blower, a Stihl brick saw and 2 chainsaws. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
