Police are continuing the search for missing twins Jahmal and Jahmil Cooper who were last seen in the early hours of Sunday, March 13, 2005 at a residence on Crown Hill Lane in Devonshire. 25 officers are continuing a systematic search for the missing men, combing areas in and around the central and eastern parishes. We will continue our search indefinitely, searching areas in and around all 9 parishes. We are continuing our appeal for anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the Cooper twins to please contact Police at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1-800-623-8477. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the location of the two missing men. |

Arson At Bus Depot Police can now confirm arson as the primary cause of the fire that was responsible for serious damage to 7 buses located at the Bus Depot on Beacon Hill in Sandy's parish and smoke damage to houses and property next to the Bus Depot. The fire took place around 5am on Sunday, March 27, 2005. An investigation into this incident continues and anyone with any information is asked to contact Inspector Tracy Adams at 295-0011. |

Foreign Currency The Bermuda Police Service recently recovered a quantity of foreign currency (notes) from various countries around the world, but mainly from Caribbean and European countries. We are appealing for anyone who may have recently lost foreign currency through theft or other means (within the past 3 months) in the western end of the island to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011 to identify & claim. |
