Promotions The Bermuda Police Service is proud to announce the promotion of 5 officers.

Promoted to the rank of Sergeant: Jamiko Tucker.

In 1995, Sergeant Tucker joined the service as a Cadet. He later progressed to the rank of Constable in 1997. For the next eight years, he has been attached to various departments such as the Eastern Uniform Division, Task Force, Narcotics Division, Police Operations (ComOps) and the Prosecutions Department. This promotion leads him to the new post of supervising the Combined Enforcement and Interdiction Team of the Narcotics Division.

Promoted to the rank of Sergeant: Antoine Fox.

Sergeant Fox is a 19 year veteran of the Bermuda Police Service, having joined in 1987. He has served in Western Uniform, Traffic Department, Motorcycle Patrol Section, Cycle Squad (now the Vehicle Crime Unit) Task Force (now the Police Support Unit), Major Incident Room (now the Serious Crime Unit), Central CID and Narcotics. He has received various letters of Good Work and Commissioner's Commendations.

Promoted to the rank of Inspector: Michael Redfern.

Michael Redfern is a 20 year policing veteran with four years of service within the London Metropolitan Constabulary and 16 years policing in Bermuda. He arrived in January 1990 and worked in Central Uniform before being transferred to Central CID and then to Western CID. Promoted 5 years ago to Sergeant, he was posted to Western Uniform and then after 1 year was transferred back to Western CID. Since February 2005, he has been working in the Financial Investigation Unit (FIU).

Promoted to the rank of Inspector: Stephen Lightbourne.

Stevie Lightbourne has spent most of his career alternating between the Criminal Investigation Division and his present posting, the Narcotics Division. He has been involved in many high profile drug and criminal cases and is the recipient of numerous Commissioner's Commendations and Letters of Good Work. He has received Police training in England, the United States and the Caribbean. Inspector Lightbourne is a former Bermuda ICC player, having represented his country during two ICC tournaments. He is also a former Somerset Cup Match player and presently plays for Southampton Rangers. He will be taking up a new posting as Officer In Charge (OIC) of the Juvenile & Domestic Crime Unit.

Promoted to the rank of Inspector: Harold Beckles.
