Western Community Action Team Community Clinics This Week

The second and third community clinics for residents of the western parishes (Sandys, Southampton and Warwick) hosted by the Bermuda Police Service Western Community Action Team will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

Wednesday, November 27th – Warwick Esso Tigermarket parking lot, #66 Middle Road, Warwick from 2pm to 6pm.

Thursday, November 28th – Heron Bay Market Place Supermarket parking lot, Middle Road, Southampton from 2pm to 6pm.

Members of the public that wish to attend should look for the Bermuda Police Service corporate back-drop and a white E-Z Up ‘pop-up tent’ which will be highly visible at all community clinic locations. In the event of bad weather the Police Mobile Command Vehicle will be utilized.

Damage Only Collision Friday: Car & Parked Vehicles

Around 4:15pm on Friday, November 22nd police officers attended a reported damage only collision on Parliament Street in the City of Hamilton near the junction with Church Street.

It appears that a car was being driven along Parliament Street when it apparently collided with a parked car and eight parked motorcycles, damaging all nine parked vehicles before leaving the scene. There were no injuries reported.

However the car involved, also damaged in the collision, was subsequently located in the surrounding area and impounded while the driver, a 33 year old Sandys parish man, has since been issued summonses for driving offences that include leaving the scene of a collision. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
