Update: Reported Serious Collision

The 47 year old Hamilton parish man and 46 year old Warwick man believed seriously injured in a motorcycle and auxiliary cycle collision around 8:40pm Thursday, November 21st on East Broadway in Pembroke have both been treated and subsequently discharged from hospital.

Initial reports suggested that the two riders had sustained serious injuries in Thursday night’s collision. There were no other injuries reported. Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Two Vehicle Collision in Sandys Parish

Around 7:30am on Friday, November 22nd first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Woodlawn Road in Sandys parish.

It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Middle Road and a truck was exiting Woodlawn Road when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle rider, a 19 year old Pembroke man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

There were no other injuries reported; however both vehicles were damaged. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Nathaneal Tannock at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010. 

Update: Two Car Collision in Devonshire

At last check the 49 year old Devonshire male driver injured in a two car collision that occurred around 1:15am Thursday, November 21st on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Christ Church Lane was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital. The other driver involved had already been treated and discharged.
