Earlier this week police officers executed a search warrant at a Sandys parish residence, where a quantity of suspected controlled drug was seized. Three people have been arrested in connection with this matter and inquiries continue.
Motorcyclist Treated & Discharged After Pembroke Collision
Around 7:40am on Thursday, October 6th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision in the Serpentine Road/Par-La-Ville Road Pembroke area.
It appears that a car and a motorcycle collided as the driver and rider of each vehicle attempted to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location.
The injured motorcyclist, a 46 year old Pembroke man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.

Around 8:30am on Thursday, October 6th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision in the Palmetto Road/Dock Hill Devonshire area.
It appears that a bus and a motorcycle collided as the driver and rider of each vehicle attempted to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location.
The motorcyclist, a 23 year old Hamilton parish man, apparently sustained injuries to his arm and leg. He was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.

Crime Stoppers Sponsors 135th Anniversary Books for Seniors
The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) would like to thank Crime Stoppers International for sponsoring 275 books celebrating the 135th anniversary of the BPS in 2014.
The commemorative books were distributed amongst the over 300 senior citizens that attended Tuesday’s Police Week 2016 Seniors’ Tea at Heritage Worship Centre.
