Third Woman Arrested In Connection with Hamilton Parish Assault

Another 22 year old St. George’s woman has been arrested in connection with the reported assault that occurred around 10pm Saturday, November 9th in the Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish area. She was later released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The two St. George’s women aged 22 and 25 years old respectively originally arrested in connection with this matter remain in police custody. Their court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Detectives continue to investigate this incident and encourage witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish area around 10pm Saturday to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the Remembrance Day holiday weekend, police officers arrested seven people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.

Officers also arrested 12 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
