7^th Road Traffic Fatality for 2013

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 41 year old Avonn Browne of Warwick.

Mr. Browne was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a wall on Harbor Road in the area of Lower Ferry in Paget at 10:30pm on Monday night August 26^th .

Avonn was pronounced dead at 10:58pm by a doctor at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to Mr. Browne’s family to assist them at this tragic time.

The investigation into this fatal collision is ongoing and witnesses, specifically anyone who may have seen the collision, are encouraged to come forward.

In addition, anyone who was with Mr. Browne immediately prior to this collision or knew his whereabouts on Monday evening  should contact the Roads Police Unit on 295-0011. This marks the 7^th road traffic fatality for 2013.

The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Browne.
