The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 56 year old Arthur Botelho. Mr. Botelho was found in a compromised state in the Barry Road, St. George’s area around 3pm Saturday, October 5th and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor. A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to Mr. Botelho’s family to assist them at this difficult time. An investigation into this sudden death is ongoing; however foul play is not suspected. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Botelho.
Reported Gunshots in the St. Monica’s Road Area, No Injuries
Around 12:20am on Saturday, October 5th police officers responded to reports of gunshots in the St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke area.
There were no reported injuries and a search of the area found no evidence to substantiate the reports.
