Sudden Death

Around 12:10am on Wednesday, August 27th first responders were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive female at an Atlantic View, Southampton residence.
On arrival EMTs performed CPR on the 48 year old Southampton woman at the scene and rushed her to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, where she was later pronounced dead by an on call doctor.
An investigation into the circumstances of this sudden death is ongoing and foul play has not been ruled out.
Update: The investigation into the sudden death of a 48 year old Southampton woman early this morning continues. An autopsy will be carried out in due course by a forensic pathologist and a 47 year old Southampton man is currently in police custody assisting with relevant inquiries.
