Search for Missing Canadian Visitor William Grange Widens

The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for the public's assistance in locating 67 year old Canadian visitor William Grange, who was last seen on the evening of Friday, May 2nd in area of the Cambridge Beaches Resort.

He was last seen wearing beige pants, a blue shirt, brown jacket and brown shoes and is described as a Caucasian male, 5'9" tall with white hair, who suffers from short term memory loss.

Today, additional officers from the Police Support Unit as well as K9 officers with police dogs will be searching for Mr. Grange in the following areas:

Willow Bank

Cambridge Beaches

9 Beaches

Westover Farm

Dockyard

Police are also following up on alleged sightings in the eastern parishes. Once again, anyone who may have seen or who may have any information on the whereabouts of 67 year old Canadian visitor Mr. William Grange is urged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 immediately, reporting all relevant information.

Reported Missing Person Alvon Brangman Located

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 47 year old Alvon Brangman. He was located safe and well Tuesday morning (May 6th).

Found Punt

Around 9:15am on Monday the 5th of May, marine police officers along with land based officers patrolling the eastern parishes located a punt that was found adrift in the Harrington Sound area.

The punt, described as an 8ft. Walker Bay, is apparently in very good (possibly new) condition. It was found with two new oars which are distinctive. The vessel has no registration number; however it does have a model number.

Any person who may have lost their punt in the Harrington Sound area recently or who may have information regarding the owner of this punt is encouraged to contact the Marine Police on 247-1770. In order to reclaim, proof of ownership must be provided.
