Around 3:45am on Saturday, January 18th first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on South Road in Southampton near the junction with Lighthouse Road.
It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along South Road when it collided with a utility pole. The injured rider, a 30 year old Sandys parish man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
At last check he was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Apparently the motorcycle was extensively damaged.
