Reported Serious Motorcycle Collision in Devonshire

Around 12:10am on Thursday, October 16th first responders attended a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Tee Street.

The injured motorcyclist, a 51 year old Hamilton parish man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in stable condition at the Intensive Care Unit.

Car Collides With Wall in Devonshire

Around 4:10am on Thursday, October 16th first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision on Middle Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of Watlington Road.

It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road when it collided with a wall.

The driver, a 22 year old Smith’s parish man, was not injured. However, he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

The car apparently received extensive damage. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
