Reported Serious Collision in Warwick

Around 7pm on Sunday, October 27th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Longford Road in Warwick.

It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road and a motorcycle was being ridden along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction.

The motorcycle rider, a 60 year old Warwick man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit. There were no other injuries reported.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend, police officers arrested three people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.

Officers also arrested nine people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
