The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank all members of the public that came to the aid of the passengers onboard the bus involved in a collision along Crow Lane in Pembroke Wednesday morning - particularly those that helped extricate all of the distressed adults and children.
In addition, we would like to acknowledge the members of staff at Renaissance Re who provided water, food and shelter for emergency service personnel as well as the pre-school students and other bus passengers.
Eight people were treated at the hospital for minor injuries following the incident; however, none of them required admission.
Inquiries regarding this matter continue and any witnesses should contact Constable Mervin Homer on the main police telephone number 295-0011.
