Motorcyclist Injured in Devonshire Collision

Approximately 12:50pm this afternoon (Monday, 18th April) Police and EMTs responded to a report of serious road traffic collision on Middle Road near the junction with Christ Church Lane, Devonshire apparently involving a motorcycle, a truck and a car.
Details surrounding the collision are limited at this time. However, the 35-year-old male motorcyclist involved was injured and taken to KEMH via ambulance where he is being treated for suspected head injuries.
The extent of his injuries is not known at this time, but an update will be provided once further information is available.
Traffic was diverted away from the area for approximately two hours while collision investigators processed the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to call the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.
Appeal Continues for 17 year old Girl Reported Missing [Located]
Police continue to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Nazirah Muddaththir. Nazirah is described as light complexioned, approximately 5’4” tall of medium build, with blonde curly shoulder length hair.
She was last seen wearing a black top, gray pants and red sneakers around 6:30pm Thursday, 14th April, leaving the Brangman Home in Devonshire.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Nazirah Muddaththir is encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.
Update: 7:30pm Tuesday, April 19th - Please be advised 17 year old Nazirah Muddathir has been located and she is safe. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating her.
