Motorcycle & Truck Collide in Southampton

Around 6:50am on Thursday, September 11th first responders were dispatched to a reported collision at the junction of Middle Road and Camp Hill in Southampton.

It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Middle Road when a truck exited Camp Hill and the vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist, a 31 year old Warwick man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Pedestrian Hospitalised After Reported Devonshire Collision

Around 8:50am on Wednesday, September 10th first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Devonshire Bay Road.

It appears that a motorcycle being ridden along South Road collided with a female pedestrian attempting to cross the road.

The victim, a 79 year old Devonshire woman, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment. At last check this morning she was in stable condition on a general ward. There were no other injuries reported.
