Police received several reports of gunshots heard in the area of Curving Avenue and St. Augustine's Hill Pembroke today (Sunday) at 12:45pm.

Upon police arrival it was confirmed that a firearm incident had taken place and a 19 year old Pembroke man was conveyed to the hospital where he was treated and released for superficial gunshot wounds.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have seen two men on a motorcycle acting suspiciously in the area to contact police on 295-0011 or the Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
