Reported Robbery in Devonshire - Around 5:15am Tuesday, June 4th police on mobile patrol along Montpelier Road in Devonshire encountered two men running through the area that disappeared into the Arboretum.
It was then ascertained that a robbery had taken place nearby where two males took a handbag from a woman and made good their escape on foot. The female victim was not injured.
The Arboretum was immediately surrounded and a search for the suspects commenced. A 31 year old Pembroke man was initially arrested in the surrounding area and a 16 year old Pembroke male was subsequently arrested at the Arboretum.
Both suspects were arrested in connection with the reported robbery and remain in police custody pending further inquiries.

Reported Serious Motorcycle Collision in Hamilton Parish
Around midnight on Tuesday, June 4th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with East Point Lane.
It appears that the motorcycle was being ridden along North Shore Road when it collided with a wall. The rider, a 40 year old Hamilton parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
